Welcome to Creemore Chiropractic

Dr. Neil Patrick graduated as class valedictorian from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2004. Prior to that, he completed an honours degree in Biological Sciences at the University of Guelph. He has also qualified as a provider of Active Release Technique (ART®) and custom foot orthotics.

Professional
After practicing as a locum tenens doctor (and working on his Portuguese in the Algarve and French in Northern Ontario) Dr. Patrick opened his own practice in the Creemore Medical Centre in October 2006. This location allows him to work closely with family physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care. Dr. Patrick believes in providing evidence-based chiropractic care for musculoskeletal conditions, including helping patients take an active role in their own recovery by providing specific stretches, exercises, and lifestyle advice.

Dr. Patrick’s experience has included helping patients living with HIV/AIDS in his internship at the Sherbourne Health Centre in downtown Toronto, to children with acute pain and elderly people with chronic conditions. He has found great success in treating athletes and sports injuries, as well as repetitive strain injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tennis and golfers’ elbow, and rotator cuff problems. He especially enjoys helping people who are surprised to learn that their pain is not something they have to put up with forever.

Personal
As an avid skier, snowboarder, golfer, hiker and photographer, Dr. Patrick has enjoyed the Creemore area with his family for most of his life. While in high school he worked as a ski instructor at Devil’s Glen Country Club near Creemore, as well as a swimming instructor and lifeguard in his hometown of Oakville. He spent many summers working for the Royal Canadian Golf Association helping conduct PGA Tour golf tournaments including the Canadian Open. He discovered his love for travel after his four years at University when he backpacked throughout Western Europe, spent a winter teaching skiing in Fernie British Columbia, and worked at golf courses in Victoria, Calgary, Montreal and Ontario. Since then, he has explored foreign lands whenever possible, including Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia and Portugal. With each new country visited he is reminded how beautiful our own is, and has driven across Canada twice, and chased icebergs in both the Yukon Territory and Newfoundland. The village of Creemore is an ideal home base to continue exploring locally.
